Tulane’s Surgery department is amazing!

Every summer, we host a program for undergraduate students to meet surgeons and residents from our staff to learn the basics of surgical education. From the history of world renowned surgeons to one-on-one mentoring to suture workshops - we do it all! Everyone from the department collaborates, but it honestly can’t be done without the brains of it all: Dr. Turner.

We’ve been doing this program for quite some time now. Just when we think it can’t get any better… the next summer always proves us wrong! Honestly, these pictures can’t capture just how amazing the program really is.
